Agogo Arts CIC is a community interest company that promotes Brazilian arts in London. It supports the community in London who participates in, appreciates, or could – with teaching or through performance – be involved in, expressions of Brazilian culture, including capoeira, samba, frevo and maracatu.
Agogo Arts works through:
Lifelong learning: providing classes and workshops to children and adults, teaching skills for capoeira and other Brazilian arts
Cultural exchange: coordinating and leading masterclasses based on reciprocal learning between artists based in London and elsewhere in the world, particularly Brazil
Shows and performances: presenting Brazilian arts to the community, such as shows, performances, workshops and outreach
